Personal appearance, identity, gender, and sexuality are better expressed through clothing the body than through the naked body, which is an interesting concept in itself. To personalise the naked body, we often opt for body modifications, which include tattoos, piercings, scarification, and several other modifications that make the body a tool for narration and storytelling. In the upcoming project, I want to explore the idea of narration through personalising the body while bringing culture into the equation by combining images of traditional Chamba craftsmanship.
